The process includes choosing emergency spaces, assigning roles, preparing supplies, setting communication methods, planning for a quick departure and practicing.

Household members are encouraged to build the plan together, discuss needs and divide responsibilities.

At the end of the process, you will have a household action plan that can be saved and printed.

What to prepare in advance

You do not have to prepare everything in advance. You can complete one step at a time and return later.

Privacy and data storage

The information is stored in the browser you are using and is not sent to the site. You can delete it, save an encrypted backup and import the backup on another device. More information about privacy, backup and deletion.

There is no need to provide a full name, ID number or information that is not needed for emergency preparedness.

Everything you enter is stored on the device you are using. It is not sent to the product operator.

The plan may include

Names, phone numbers, school or care-setting names, meeting points and role assignments.

Do not enter in the plan

ID numbers, passwords, credit card details or medical information that is not necessary for emergency action.

If you clear site data, change devices or use private browsing, the information may be deleted. You can create an encrypted backup file at any time.

Anonymous feedback

The form does not read information from your plan. Do not enter names, phone numbers, addresses or identifying details. At the end, an anonymous feedback file is downloaded that you can send to the product team.
